Stay Safe on Super Bowl Sunday

Hello Friends,

A message from Stephanie:

Four years ago, after a debut at #3 on the bestseller list, MAID got a positive review in the NYT Book Review.

I thought it would be my biggest moment as a writer. Being in the NYTBR was my wildest dream.

Then... Four days after this, I spoke to the producers of what would become the Netflix series based on my book. It's still hard for me to believe, and even more difficult to grasp that I'm at the dawn of getting to promote its sequel.

CLASS is important to me. It's deeply personal. It's the book I always wanted to write. It focuses on my hardest, physically hungriest year. The year I fought like hell for my future self to experience all of this. Now, I'm going to fight to make her proud.

Thanks for being along for the ride,

Stay Safe on Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend, and Stephanie’s household will be rooting for the Eagles to win. Team Stephanie will be watching too, but only during Rihanna’s halftime show. We want to remind you to stay safe this weekend. Many women’s shelters report that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the worst days of the year for violence against women in the home. Events like the Super Bowl can cause emotions to run high and often involve an increased alcohol intake. If you find yourself in a bad situation, know that help is available 24/7 via the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
