Hi Friends,

Team Stephanie is bursting with excitement. We’ve been given the green light for the CLASS cover reveal. Let’s just say next week’s newsletter might come a little earlier in the week than usual… Maybe Wednesday, but you didn’t hear that from me.

Stephanie is on the road again next week to her first Spring speaking engagements in Charlotte and Indianapolis. If you’re in those areas and want to see her, make sure you check out the events page on her website for more information about securing tickets.

We’re going to be rolling out some exciting CLASS promotional material across all of her social media platforms next week so make sure you are following her on all your favorite platforms @stepville.

I’ve got to quit typing now before I spill too many beans. Just keep an eye on your inbox, and know that newsletter subscribers will be the first to know everything CLASS related. You guys are our favorite peeps, but don’t tell the others ;)

XOXO

Team Stephanie

Upcoming Event Highlight: Stephanie will speak at the Brick Breeden Field as part of MSU's First Year Student Convocation on Aug. 22, 2023!

This event is a free and open to the public.

Tickets can be reserved here.

What is the biggest difference between MAID & CLASS?

“Well, I'm a bit older in this book. At its start, I'm about to turn 35 and begin my senior year of college. Emilia (who went by "Mia" in MAID) is beginning kindergarten. I'm not as shell-shocked, but still have to juggle several of the same impossibilities as I did in MAID. It's still an everyday struggle to be secure in housing and whether or not we have enough food in the cupboards. I'm angrier and less apologetic. I'm weathered and fed up but have the same dreams of being a professional writer--and the same, adorable kid who keeps me on my toes. - step”

This week, we’re boosting the above GoFundMe for Jaylene Pief, a single mother and DV survivor looking for help. Jaylene writes the following:

“As some of you know, I have been fighting to survive as a disabled, single mother/business owner. Living paycheck to paycheck and having no car is preventing me from being able to maintain my business and do everything I need to do for my children. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2019 and have been fighting for my survival ever since. I made huge goals this last year with coming out of homelessness and re-building my business. Now I am going to lose everything I have worked so hard for simply because of my lack of transportation. I have never had the privilege of having financial support from my family, i.e. I've had to do everything on my own. I am grateful for my ability to show my children how to be strong, independent women and reverse the generations of battered women in our family, but I will not be able to continue to do so without a reliable income. I have new clients with upcoming appointments and desperately need a car to maintain and succeed. Please help me so I may continue to be successful and strong for my children!”

Consider donating to Jaylene’s GoFundMe if you can!

Bodhi, Juneau, and Keats are living their best lives.

That’s all for this week, folks. We’ll see you next week! Sooner than you think! :)
