Book tour information is still being finalized. In the meantime, here are the details for Stephanie's upcoming events.
Hi Friends,
Aren’t you glad it’s Friday? We sure are. Book tour information is being finalized and we are so close to being able to share it with all of you. In the meantime, Stephanie is getting ready to take her Maid lecture on its final run around the sun. Here are the details for her upcoming events:
Stephanie will give the convocation address at Montana State University. This event takes place on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 with free childcare available for those who attend. MSU’s Convocation is the formal welcome of the incoming class, where the university focuses attention on the start of the academic, intellectual and personal journey of first-year students. All freshmen students will be given a copy of Maid to read as the messages and the lessons for their classes can be interwoven into the academic curriculum.
Following that, Stephanie will be the keynote speaker at the Housing Iowa Conference taking place on September 6, 2023. The Housing Iowa Conference is Iowa’s premier housing event welcomes housing developers, property managers, financiers, lenders, Realtors, homeless and supportive services professionals, housing advocates, policy makers, community development professionals, community leaders and anyone interested in learning more about housing in Iowa.
In October, you can find Stephanie at the University of Delaware. Throughout the fall semester, first-year students will explore themes found in Maid with speakers and other cultural events, including an essay contest, library exhibition and an in-person lecture by Stephanie, scheduled for October 3, 2023. More details will be announced at a later date.
On October 11, 2023, Stephanie will speak at the California Welfare Directors Association Conference. The conference is a platform to learn about the latest in technology, service delivery, workplace efficiency, adapting to pandemic, equity and inclusion in leadership, staff recruitment and retention, and to further the important work of improving the well-being of children, families, aging adults, and individuals across California. Registration is at capacity. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please fill out and submit the form.
And finally, on October 17, 2023, Stephanie will give a lecture at Stark Library in Canton, Ohio. Registration for this event opens Friday September 1 at 8:00am.
Mark your calendars. We hope to see you at one of these upcoming events!
XOXO
