ICYMI: On the media front, the book received a glowing starred review in Publishers Weekly and they also ran an additional Q&A with Stephanie. The book was also included in BookBub’s round up: “We Can’t Wait to Read These Books Coming Out in the Second Half of 2023.
Stephanie also mailed out signed copies of both MAID and CLASS to a few lucky series fans on Tik Tok. They’ve begun receiving them, and some have even made super cute videos of themselves opening their packages. Check out Lily, Caroline, Tammy, and Kaitlyn’s videos. They made Team Stephanie smile!
Stephanie is thoroughly enjoying her last days of summer. She’s been taking riding lessons, and soaking in as much bonding time as she can with her beautiful horse, Orion. Check out this fancy halter she got for him! Isn’t he handsome?
Additionally, she’s been going to a bunch of concerts. Her and Story recently went to Rain-The Beatles Tribute Band's show. They looked and sounded just like the real deal and came with multiple costume changes!
We hope you are also soaking in the last days of summer. Don’t be too bummed about it ending though… Fall is just around the corner, and that means Halloween, pumpkin spiced everything, and oh, did we mention - CLASS?

What is your favorite part of CLASS?
“Every scene with my oldest daughter is a favorite, honestly. I enjoy being able to write scenes between us and have those recorded in a way that I can read them again and again. It's such a unique way to record our history together and I try to make them come alive on the page as much as possible. There are several scenes in the book with Emilia that bring tears to my eyes when I read them.
Another favorite part is honestly the acknowledgments. I put a lot of thought into them and go through lengthy edits and last minute changes. Being able to write out acknowledgments in a book that I wrote is absolutely my favorite part of being an author.” - step
